Would you turn please this morning in the Bible to the book of James, James Chapter 5?

We've been speaking on Sunday mornings, ministering on the subject of prayer, principles, principles of prayer.

We believe it at the direction of the lord we've been focusing

meditating and putting into practice the word on the subject of prayer and we've talked about

for weeks now what prayer is we said one of the most basic and summary statements about what prayer is.

Prayer is communion with the Father.

Communion with God.

So prayer is talking to God.

It should be more than that, a lot more.

Communion is reciprocal.

Two-way.

Prayer should be, for a modern word, interactive.

Right?

And then we went into the gospel accounts, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which we're still doing today.

Studying Jesus as the ultimate perfect prayer.

How many believe that you don't find a better prayer than Jesus?

Right?

I mean, he's the example.

And we committed, before we got into the study,

that ever how the Lord has taught us by word or by example to pray,

that's how we're going to pray.

Right?
