Wow, we did jump right in. You were not kidding. I told you. I did the whole, like the intros are going to be recorded. I'm saying nice things about you before you even get here. That's so lovely. And this is sort of the opposite of the aesthetic of, I will say, West Coast podcasting circa 2011 to 2017, where people would say, are we rolling right now? Is this even recording

right now? We're doing the opposite of that. Like, yes, we are recording. Let's do it.

I'm letting you know right now. I'm letting you know multiple times that we're recording. So that

way when we are recording, we're recording. And you're not committing a crime in the state of

California. Yeah, I don't think like starting a conversation with somebody means you can start recording them.

That's right. That's why you have to be very explicit and get enthusiastic consent before you do any podcast.

I'm all about positive consent in every format and shape, including in podcasting.

Yeah. I think most especially for me in podcasts, that's the most important form of consent.

And then, yeah, deal with the other one.

And the rest of them.

But I'm surprised we've never officially have met before.

We've always, I think we've been circling each other for years.

We've run in the same circles.

I think we became Twitter Mutuals many years ago.
