So we're about to get to work. I just want to explain why this is so important for us.

Out of all of the things the disciples could have asked Jesus, the main thing that they really,

really were passionate about was, Lord, teach us how to pray. And so what we want to strive to do,

what we're striving to do the week before the winter storm came in,

is just get us to value the spiritual discipline.

Everybody say discipline.

Discipline.

Of prayer.

Okay.

So in the Great Commission, when Jesus says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

the root word in disciples is disciplined.

So he's saying, go therefore and make disciplined people, teaching them to obey everything that I taught you, baptizing them in the name of the

Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And lo, I'm with you always, even until the end of the age.

So I just want us to understand as we're really trying to break down

and teach the importance of prayer, it does require discipline. If you're not there yet where

you have fallen in love with prayer, it does take discipline. Everybody say it's discipline

before it becomes desire. Before it becomes desire. Okay, let's work, bro.

So we started week one and we establish a baseline, the foundation of the fact that you have power.
