Shalom and good evening to everybody, Pastor Mike Goulay here with public reading of scripture. otherwise known as PRS when the First Century Church meant.

Every single week, sometimes daily, they would open up God's word, read it and listen.

They didn't have printing presses back then, so they relied on

listening to the word of God. That's why it says in First Timothy to hear the word of God and let

it soak into our hearts make an impact and be able to share it with those around us.

So again, tonight or today, what other time zone that you're in, we will be also praying for Israel while we listen.

And the way to do that is we're going to pause during some

sections and I'll invite you to write your prayers.

Feel free to write your prayers even now, but when we pause for reflection and when we get some observations and insights from the

text, we will also pray for Israel through writing it down in the chat room on YouTube
