Mediation.

Prior to Jesus' atonement, the children of Israel had to access God by prayers and sacrifices that were performed by high priest.

Christ's atonement for our sins made him our what? Mediator.

Our prayers are made known to God by him. Just in case you need an illustration of this,

there is a perverted illustration and it's called Catholicism. They'll show you exactly how this works, but their version is perverted.

But when you go confess your sins to the priest, the priest will take your sins and take them to God for you.

He's the mediator.

And he'll give you five hell, Mary's, depending on how bad it was.

Ten, our fathers, Hail Mary's, and whatever else. You know, and then if you happen to die,

they can even, if you give them enough money, go pray you out of purgatory, which is the

waiting place. It's just a little hot in there you can make it in there

until somebody gets you out but yeah so they have a perverted version of mediation so they're

basically showing you that they they have given the role of Christ to the priest and he takes

your sins to God. Well, the true illustration is that Christ sitteth at the right hand and interceded

for us. He is the mediator and he's the only mediator. Amen. Amen. Because that that should not be

because there is only one mediator and that is Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2 and 5, for there is one God and what?

One mediator between God and man. So you don't go to a man and tell him to take my prayer to God, take my sins to God. Now, you don't do that. No, no, no. That man or the man,

Christ Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ is the ultimate

what? Ultimate intercessor. His sacrificial
