for prayer, knowing that our God answers prayer and that in Jesus' name we can come boldly

into the throne room of God to ask for help in our time of need.

Lord God, we begin by giving you praise for the grace and the love that have sent Jesus Christ

to be our Savior and not only to be our Savior but to be our life.

You enable us as your people to live in the power of Jesus, to live with His

Holy Spirit, guiding us, giving us power for life, giving us the ability to live above our

circumstances. We are grateful for that, Lord. And I pray that that strength will be realized by

every person who we're praying for today, Lord, that no matter the

difficulties they face, you would be their life and you would be their strength. We begin by praying

for our sister Yvette, who's asking us to pray for her son, Kenny, who's trying to join the

National Guard, and he has a test to pass coming up on January 6th and 8th.

Lord, we pray for Kenny.

We know you have a plan for his life.

We know you have a purpose for every step he takes.

We ask you, Lord, to give him a deep faith in you.
