Hello my friends and welcome back to another pre-together episode. This episode's audio may sound

a little bit odd. I am using a different headset and I'm in a hotel room. My wife and I are on

the road today so we appreciate your prayers for our safety. We also have a handful of requests

here as is usually the case on a Friday for us to be praying about together. We have such a privilege

to lift the needs of brothers and sisters around the world to our Heavenly Father and I am excited

that you're here with me to do that. We have I think eight or ten requests today that we're going

to be praying about so let's remind ourselves exactly what it is that we're doing here. We are

bowing humbly before the God of all creation. The ancient of days is what he calls himself. He's

almighty and he has told us to bring our concerns to him in prayer. What a privilege we have and what a

great benefit and blessing it is to know that we can come through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ

and because of his death and resurrection with boldness and with confidence to ask him for what we need.

So brothers and sisters as we pray today let's stir up our faith. Let's believe God to do what

only he can do as we begin praying for these brothers and sisters who have submitted requests to us.

Okay we're going to begin today with our sister Julie who writes to us from the United States

and she has a very simple request. She has written our church and my family. Not a lot of detail

but we know that the Lord knows so let's go to prayer. Father we thank you for Julie. We thank you

for her concern and her desire to lift up to you these concerns that she has for her church

family and then it sounds like for her own family and so Lord we begin praying for the church. We

know that the church is precious to you. You call it your bride and every local congregation is a

part of that greater church and Father whatever's going on in Julie's church family whether it be

conflict or blessing whether it be joy or sorrow we ask you Lord to provide the unity of your spirit

to everyone there Lord give a sense of peace and a sense of purpose to the people who are there
