Hello once again my friends it is time for our Pray Together episode. You know I'm really so

grateful that every week so many of you take the time to listen to these longer episodes

and to truly pray for the people who are submitting their requests.

You don't know the differences might be making in their lives because the God of the universe

listens to us and hears when we pray according to his will in the name of Jesus Christ and that's what we're seeking to do today.

media.com slash prayer. Our Father we do bow before you as the maker of heaven and earth. The scriptures call

you the ancient of days. the eternal one. You are our awesome God who we cannot really truly even comprehend. We ask

you Lord to open our minds and hearts to understand you better, to know you more, to love

you well, and love you well.

And Lord, to pray according to your will today

with many requests from brothers and sisters

from people all over the world today

who are asking us to intercede on their behalf

and we want to do so effectively

through the ways in which you would lead us to do.

We begin, Lord, by praying for those in Western North Carolina.

It's one of the areas that was the hardest hit by the hurricane that recently came through,

Lord, I just can't even imagine a place so far inland was devastated through flooding and through the rains that came through the hurricane Lord.

Whole communities wiped out. Over 200 people have died so far. Homes are gone, communities are gone, people are still

missing. Father, we are asking you to be the gracious provider and comforter in that great

tragedy that's happened.
