hearts as you go before the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the one who loves us and cares

for us because of his son, Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus, we begin by saying thank you to you for being our Savior,

being the one who has placed us into the favor of the Father,

through giving your life a ransom for us to rescue us from the clutches of sin,

and to enable us to, by faith, have relationship with our Heavenly Father,

all three members of the Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, are ours by virtue of what you've done. Thank you.

We lift up our sister Claudette, who asked us to pray for her husband, who was baptized last year, but still needs to open his heart to the Lord.

I'm not even sure exactly what that means, because baptism usually takes place after a person's come to faith in Christ. So I'm not

sure if he truly placed his faith in Christ or if he's just being rebellious after coming to

faith in Christ, Lord, I just pray, whatever's going on there,

you would capture his heart. You would transform him into a man of God, and you would make his life a

testimony of your great grace. Claudette also asks his Lord to pray for her mother-in-law,

who has turned away from the Lord after coming to know you as a child, Lord, I ask that you would bring her to a place of renewal,

a place of restoration with you,

a place where Jesus is the sweetest name that she knows

and that she grows in that relationship.
