Hello friends. Thank you for joining me once again for a Pray Together episode. You know this morning as I was thinking about coming together for prayer on this episode.

A song from childhood came back to my mind, a song that maybe is still sung in Sunday

school classes and vacation Bible schools across the globe. And the song says, my God is so big, so strong, and so mighty.

There's nothing my God cannot do.

And isn't that the attitude we need to have when we come to him in prayer?

We need to come confidently because of who he is and what he's capable of doing?

But we also come confidently because he is our God. There is a personal relationship

that's going on here. He is a father, he cares for us, he wants us to know the depth of his love for us and his

concern. And though he is sovereign over the circumstances that happen in the

world and he brings them about in our lives and in our

circumstances just as he intends. He cares for us and loves us in those

circumstances and wants to partner with us through prayer. It's a mystery. I don't fully

understand how we can partner with the divine ruler of the universe in prayer, but we can and he encourages us to do so.

So today as we bring these numerous requests before the Lord, I encourage you to

boldly come to him in faith.

Lord, we lift up Roseanne who is asking us to pray for her husband, who is working in Saudi

Arabia at an oil refinery, and there has been a missile attack in the area.

Father we pray and ask for your protection for him, for wisdom for him that he would do what's wise in staying safe as far as it has to do with him.

We also pray for Roseanne as she is in the Philippines with their family.

Lord we ask that you would comfort them,

you would strengthen them, give them eyes

to look to you during this difficult time of separation.
