Hello, my friends, thanks for joining me for another great together episode.

You know, prayer is our opportunity to bring our concerns and cares that affect our lives

here on planet earth to the throne room of God.

We're able to rest in him.

We're able to take him the needs that we have in confidence and it's a confidence that

comes because Jesus died on the cross to make a way for us to enter into the throne room

of grace and to receive help in our time of need as the book of Hebrews says.

Friends, this is our opportunity to pray with faith.

We must pray knowing that God is good, that he is listening, that he cares for us and

for the situations that we bring to him.

So as we begin this morning, praying, beginning with our prayer requests from our brother

Keith, please join me with that kind of faith.

Father, we thank you for being such a faithful God and for being one that we can trust.

We thank you that your character is such that we can trust you, that you do not promise

what you do not deliver, that you do not treat us as our sins deserve, but Lord, rather

that you're full of grace toward us because of the work your son Jesus has done on our

behalf.

And so Lord, we begin by praying for Keith who is asking us to actually pray for his

brother who he says has abandoned God in favor of self-worship and pagan spirituality.

Lord, we join Keith in praying that he will return to you and that you will help Keith

to be an encouragement to him.

Lord, show him the difference you make in the life, but more so, Lord, show him yourself.
