Well howdy good to see you, super excited. This is the final sermon in the Pray Like Jesus sermon series.

way out this sermon is the last three chapters in the book that should indicate to

you that this will be a particularly lengthy sermon will be in John Chapter 17 and entire chapter again will clue you

this will be a very lengthy sermon all of which I would just simply say you are very

welcome so open your Bible to John Chapter 17 and we're going to

look at Jesus high priestly prayer. This is the longest recorded prayer that we

have of Jesus Christ. We praise for himself for us who are Christians and for those who are not yet

but going to be Christians and Jesus is praying this prayer with his disciples and

let me just submit this to you the best way to get close to someone

to get to know someone is to pray for them and pray with them that's why

Jesus in this context of John 17 he's praying his disciples. If you want to deepen your marriage,

pray and bring God into the middle of that relationship. If you want to improve your relationship with

your children, pray for them, pray with them. Bring God into the middle of that relationship.

Same with family and friends.

And Jesus here is allowing us to eavesdrop on his prayer

so that we can grow in relationship with God and Him.

Some will call this the High Priestly prayer.
