from the Lord who makes the storm clouds,

and he will give them showers of rain,

to everyone the vegetation in the field what a beautiful

simple verse ask rain from the lord this obviously a clear acknowledgement the rain doesn't just happen

that rain only comes from god and the picture here in zechariah chapter 10

is clearly a picture of blessing of blessing on the land and all that that would produce but that

blessing only comes from god from the lord so seek him. So seek him for it.

Ask him for it.

And he will give showers of rain.

So with this picture, this imagery in your mind, I want to just encourage you, what blessing

are you asking for? Where do you want to see showers of rain

fall and I want to encourage you to not be timid or bashful in asking from the Lord

obviously asking according to his word and His will.

We don't just ask for more stuff in this world so we can live it up in this world.

That's not what His word is will is for our lives, but for His blessing in our lives,

our families, and our work, for favor, for help, for redemption in the middle of broken situations, just ask God for rain.

Ask God to do what only God can do. And don't hold back and asking God to bring the rain

in whatever way the Holy Spirit might lead you to ask. We don't have because we don't ask. So ask

rain from the Lord. God, I can think of specific situations, people right now in my life.
