Hi, my name is Father Mike Schmitz and this is a center of presents.

One of the things I love about working on a college campus is that our students have

so many questions and I just, I love the fact that they have this desire,

not just to know the truth, but also to live the truth.

Like I don't just want to know the faith, that they also want to not just know the faith,

they want to live the faith.

And that's sort of remarkable.

So one of the questions that a couple of students came up to me, a couple of freshmen,

came up to me and they asked, they said, okay, so as they're growing, as they're learning

more about the Lord, learning more about prayer, learning more about, like we're called

to do God's will in everything.

So they said, which is it?

Meaning, do we pray or do we work?

Like do we just ask God for stuff and trust Him or do we just work for stuff and just

get it ourselves?

And I thought, that is a great question.

Because we talk about this where we talk about the fact that we have to pray.

Like we're called, we're not just called to pray, we're made for prayer.
