But also that name should sound familiar because Spires led off the story two months ago

with twisted knots.

D. A DA Shaolin Spires stares at the sky and wonders what there is to eat out there in the

Cosmos. Spires aspires to be a 3D printer, replicator, gormand, but will happily concede with producing

and consuming quixotic fiction and poetry.

Trips to the east and southeast Asia continue to influence the writing and leave her

craving durian, fermented foods, and copious amounts of wonder that fuel her body spirit and imagination.

Spires lives in oscillation between Asia and the US

and currently resides in Hawaii.

You can find her sniffing tropical fruit at farmers markets, scouring lawns and beaches for

fallen plumaria blossoms, and boarding research vessels.
