This is John Mandrola, and I'm excited to have our old standbys, Dr. Vinay Prasad,

Dr. Adam Sifu, are back, an old school podcast, and excited to see you guys.

It's good to be back. It's been a big hiatus.

Absolutely. All right.

Well, today we've got a very interesting topic, very topical.

Dr. Prasad was invited and give this lecture at the American Clinical Pharmacy Association,

ACCP, was tweeted out that he was excited to give the keynote.

And some people didn't appreciate that, sent out tweets saying that they didn't appreciate that,

and he was disinvited. So we're going to talk today about free speech, in science, debate.

And also, Dr. Seifu, had COVID and recovered.

And so we're going to talk about that as well.

So then I tell us about the story with the clinical pharmacist.

All right.

We're recording this on a Sunday, the 15th of October, and I think sometime later this week,

an article will come out on the free press where I kind of take people through the facts

of the story.

But you know, it's nothing too exciting, John, nothing too exciting.

I was invited back in May to give a keynote address at the American

College of Clinical Pharmacy Conference in Dallas, Texas. And actually, in terms of background,

they told me that it's like a 20,000 person organization and they're going to be having their

annual conference. They'd love for me to come and talk about medical evidence and evidence appraisal, which, you know, everyone who listens to this show will know
