The shutdown is big on my mind today. We also are, you know, in this push around the Tik-Toc band bill. That's what I think it amounts to pass the House last week.

And I did not vote for it, happy to talk about that.

What you said about algorithms is absolutely correct, and it's not just Tik-Tok, it's also X it's meta it's all these

other platforms as well but that bill is now in the Senate so we'll have to see

what happens there and then it's another week of Republicans taking up time with

horrific bills that attack trans people, that attack immigrants, so we will have a number of hearings in Education and Labor Committee and Judiciary Committee where I'm a member of both, where they're trying to ban trans kids from getting gender affirming care or they're trying to

uh...

detain mandatorily detain immigrants when they're not even convicted of anything as

yet and so uh... this is all the stuff that's in front of us today,
