Summary

Free speech is in jeopardy. Big Tech behemoths like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter are putting their thumbs on the free speech scale, “restricting” conservative content they don’t like. PragerU is fighting back with a lawsuit against YouTube and its parent company, Google. The real winner (or loser) will be the American public. In this video, Attorney Eric George, who is representing PragerU, lays out our case. Be the jury.

0:19.2	That's because this case is about the most fundamental freedom Americans have, freedom
0:23.5	of speech, as enunciated in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
0:29.3	All our freedoms, the very concept of freedom, springs from this right.
0:34.0	Lose it and we're no longer free, not as individuals and not as a nation.
0:39.1	I'm not willing to accept that.
0:41.3	Prager You doesn't accept that and you shouldn't either.
0:44.9	Okay, so how did we get into this situation?
0:48.3	A little background.
0:50.1	Prager Use what is called a 501-Z3, a non-profit educational media company.
0:56.4	It's known primarily for its five-minute videos.
0:59.3	In 2016, viewers began to notice that certain Prager You videos were no longer available.
1:06.3	YouTube had placed them on its restricted list, which prevents the videos from playing on
1:10.4	computers using content filters to screen out violence and pornography.
1:15.6	Prager You assumed this was simply a case of bad algorithms, but YouTube said no.
1:21.2	Each restricted video had been reviewed by a walking, talking human.
1:26.2	List included such diverse titles as Are the Police Racist by Heather McDonald, Israel's
1:32.0	legal founding by Alan Dershowitz, and even a video on the 10 Commandments by Dennis Prager.
