Are you ready? I'm waiting anxiously for what happens next. Here's what's going on.

If you haven't heard about the whole situation involving televangelist Joel Olstein and his church in Lakewood, let me update you.

So about seven years ago, the church reported to the police that $600,000 worth of tiding money had been stolen from a safe on their premises.

That's a lot of money, $600,000. And despite the church gifting crime stoppers with a $20,000 reward to help catch the burglar, no one was ever arrested and the cash was never found.

Now, fast forward to about a month ago, the church hired a plumber to come and fix the loose toilet they had.

And when the plumber pulled the toilet from the wall, a bunch of cash and checks fell out.

Baffling, like I've kind of followed this story a little bit since I heard it.

And I don't understand what could have been going on because obviously someone put it in the wall.

Right. And then why would they put it in the wall?

Exactly. And why the checks? Because the checks do you know good holding on to it? The cash you could come back to.

It's everything that should be on a discovery channel show.

Exactly. I'm sure it will be. But police are doing more investigation.

But the plumber did the right thing by letting the right people know. And once police were able to officially say that those checks were tied to the robbery seven years ago,

crime stoppers gave the plumber the $20,000 they had been gifted by the church to help with the reward. And it was a big surprise for the plumber.

Bill's are stacking up. Work is trying to get slow. So I'm just trying to make the best of it. And today that light shine through.

Yeah, like I had heard another interview with him and he's a believer and stuff too. And so this he was in a weird thing.

He's like, there's all this money in the wall. Why is this here? Yeah.

And then there was initial reports that they were not going to give him the money because the time had been you know so long since this happened.

And so a radio station went on and did a go fund me for him to try to make it right. And then all of a sudden now he's getting the money.
