In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your

understanding of God's Word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your

life. So here's a question for you. And I'm going to ask for answers. You know why? Tomorrow's

my birthday. And texting is my love language. So it be super fun today and tomorrow. If I can just

hear from a lot of you, just hear what's on your

heart. So here's my question for today's show. What kinds of conversations have you been having with

God these days? What do they sound like? I'd love some examples. Maybe it sounds like God, are you listening?

or lord like a jami winchip question what do you want me to know lord what do you want me to do

well here's what's true our conversations with god are of utmost importance our relationship with

god and thus our prayer life is meant to grow deeper and richer and more meaningful with time.

So I'll ask again, and maybe you don't have our number, so maybe you want to punch that into your phone so you always have it. What kinds of conversations are you been having with God these days? What does it sound like? And I'll consider every answer anonymous, except for Andrew's text because he just said, Happy Birthday, Susie. It's tomorrow, but I'm kind of stretching it out over two days because, you know, my hubby claims the whole month

in July when it's his birthday. He claims the fireworks for his birthday. So I can grab two days,

Our good friend Edison Bavir joins us today to talk about his new companion journal, and I told him off the air, it's more than a journal, it's a devotional. It's, you know, a lot of times when you see devotionals or journals that come off of a book, his book is Words with God. We've had multiple conversations, subtitled trade boring, empty prayer for real connection. When I first saw this, I first just thought it's a journal that they took content out of the book, which is awesome. You know, lots of, lots of authors do that. This is not the case. This literally could be a standalone book, although you'd be missing it if you don't get the original book. But I'm just telling you, there's devotional reading every day, there's a chance to reflect, to re-center, and then you get to answer some questions and write in a journal.
