Before we get into Notre Dame football, the important stuff, I need to know how you made the

kilt fashion choice.

How did the inspiration strike you that this is what I need to wear on NBC?

So I was approached by NBC a couple days before the game and they wanted to see if I wanted to participate in their first kind of dual alumni venture with a representative from their name and then a representative from the other school.

And I think it's a great idea.

And so as we're in the production meetings, we're kind of going over film and video and everything, and I'm talking about kind of creating excitement and, you know, you're going to be about the student section.

And, you know, if you can come up with anything, that'd be great.

And so I went home thinking, how can I kind of be different?

How can I kind of show my, my allegiance to my

favorite team? And surprisingly enough, I have a buddy Jerry Kennedy, who actually is my

kilt mentor and fellow brother. He happened to have several kilts with him.

And I was like, oh, my God, if I were that, that would be just, it's either going

to be an epic fail or people are going to love it.
