We begin by praising Allah, by bearing witness that none has the right to be worshipped or

We ask Allah to send his peace and blessings upon him, the prophets and messengers that came

before him, his family and companions that served alongside him and those that follow

Dear brothers and sisters,

when we talk about the subject of detachment,

detaching from the place that you are presently in,

in a way that is healthy,

that you don't lose where you are in the present,

but you always have your eye and your heart towards the future.

We learned this methodology from the Prophet,

Sallu.

In every minor and major detail.

And I want to go back to a very common hadith that's cited where a man

comes to the Prophet, sallah aene and says, Matas sa'a'a, O messenger of Allah, when is the

hour? And the Prophet, sallu aeneh a response with, what have you prepared for the hour?
