So this is usually when people start to come back in but yeah it's pretty cool man and I appreciate you guys have me on I'm looking forward to this today I we were talking a little bit before we got rolling here just about how weird this season feels like whether you know for at all different levels it feels very weird but still getting together doing little mock dress like this it does bring a sense of normalcy to our lives. All right guys I want to talk about this really quick over the weekend the Las Vegas Raiders signed the or it they release former CFL star William stand back and they pick up the or it so I wanted to talk about this before we get into the mock draft because I think this does carry some weight or maybe in your opinion it doesn't.

As to the past catching involvement for Josh Jacobs so Matt I'll throw this over to you first like what is this signing mean to you are you concerned at all about Josh Jacobs.

I mean it's so weird because on one hand you know you have John Groot and kind of reportedly so upset that Jacobs didn't get offensive rookie of the year last year that it went to Kyler Murray that he really wants to like get this guy as many touches as possible to sort of like stick it to the voters or whatever and that's a very John Groot thing to do I feel like number one like just to be so petty about something like that but you know and then on the other hand you just look at the moves that the Raiders have made from a running back perspective this.

This this all season they resign Jalen Rashard who's a past catching first back they draft Lynn Boutin and declare him a running back he's a college past catcher so another another body there then they've got a guy and Devonte Booker who's a third down back they also add him to the roster and now you have theoretic and we know that theoretic is just I mean I don't know that he's one of the best past catching running back and I felt because he's just sort of like a catch and fall you know around the line is really right guy who knows he might even not he might not even make the roster number one.

Like let's be clear about that but it's just odd that the one question that we all have about Josh Jacobs which is how many times they're going to throw him the football they continue to seem to make moves that answer it being not very much because we have all these other backs to do it but I mean Jacobs is this a supreme town one of the best young backs in the league so he could easily make all these guys are relevant but I think it would be something that would be very foolish to ignore sort of a trend of all of these other backfield moves.

Yep I basically said that throughout the off seasons that we can hear that Mike may access is going to involve more is a pass in game all we want but at the same time you have to look at everyone that they've added to this roster and everything screams that this is going to be I don't even know how they're going to disperse targets it's honestly one of the toughest situations to project when you sit down and do projections because we know that this this offense is revolved around the tight end position quite a bit Henry rugs was used with the number 12 overall pick as Matt stated there's a lot of other running backs in this roster I just don't see Josh Jacobs ever getting to the top

territory where he's catching 60 balls like he talked about I think it's I think that the best case scenario for Jacobs right now and it's it's nothing to do with his ability but it has to do with the situation I think it's like a Joe mix and type season and that's like a low end RB one high end RB two I just don't think that he I don't think this offense presents enough scoring opportunities for him to finish as a top six running back so drafting him is you know the eighth running back off the board the seventh running back off the board which I've seen some people do I think you're drafting him is a seat at a ceiling right now so unfortunately

unless Jacobs falls towards the end of the second round middle mid to late second round I'm not going to own any Jacobs it's super confusing because you're looking at all the guys that they've added Matt listed off all the running backs you also have rod Smith on this roster two and looking at it and like you have four of the same type of player right the

or it Devon tape booker Jalen or shard and I mean maybe put Lynn Bowden Lynn Bowden's more of like that electric player like you get him some scheme touches he's a good receiver out of the backfield too but it can also run between the tackles but the weird thing is that they haven't added a

running back to complete like to that does the same types of things that Josh Jacobs does like what happens if yeah exactly like what happens if

Josh Jacobs goes down they sign I said it growl great just throw they just throw like you know 10 to 15 pop gun passes to

theoretic and Jalen rechart and like right you know I guess it's like the amalgamation or
