Today is May 22nd. And yes, we are going to talk about baseball. Sandy Alcantara. Oh my gosh. Six-in-s-nings-nitcher runs, 9-nits, zero walks, and 3Ks. It was against Hotlanta. And here's the thing. We kind of said last time that it might be time to drop Sandy.

And I actually did in my 12-teamer, which is even a quality start league, because I had

a lot of arms, a lot of arms we all like, like Peyton Tolly and Conner-Prelip and

Troy Melton and Connolly Early and Cam Schlittler and so on and so forth, where I found

myself in a situation that Sandy, while having more upside for the long term, was a bigger risk

than everyone else. It was a case where I had a good staff already, and I don't need to go after this.

And I really want you to consider that too in your 12-teamers.

I'm not saying that Sandy can't be better, right?

We saw it last year, but we also had to wait, what, four months for it?

And be careful of holding on to Sandy.

He's not cooking with his fastballs as much.

He's not nailing it with his changeups.

The whole attack, it just isn't quite there.

And yeah, this was against Atlanta,

so it's hard to really outline this as the straw that broke the camel's back.

But it's also a 16% strikeout rate right now for this season.

There's something to that.
