Today is May 12th. And yes, we are going to talk about baseball. Alc Manoa was five innings and zero-earned runs as the bulk guy for the Angels yesterday against the Cleveland Guardians. Two hits and two stri-guess. Oh, and by the way, five walks. Look, just don't do it. I'm just going to tell you right now. I made it, Manoa get the boat because just the suggestion of saying, hey, maybe I should get Minoah now, had me feeling like that. So, no, he, I believe he set 87.5 on his four seamer. Just think about that. Okay, cool. Do not go after Alec Manila.

Michael Soroka, 6.1 innings of zero and runs three.

It's one walk in five strikeouts against the Rangers.

He got the win.

That is so good.

And 201 ERA with a 112 weapon, 27% K rate, if you remove that one terrible day that he had,

I really can't express enough that I think Soroka's command is really, really good, especially

with the cutter to lefties that's helping out a ton.

Now he does allow more hard contact than I expected against his curveball and his four seamer,

and that should impact this a little bit.

At the same time, it's still like an 8 hit per 9.

And because that low walk rate, he has a 1.12 whip, that is a 6% walk rate.

He's allowed to have a near 8 hit per 9.

Right?

The ERA 201, fine.

Fine, that's probably going to get a little bit worse.

That said, he is holding the babb that you'd expect

with some of that hard contact and the fact that he is able to command effectively is going

to keep him a very valuable starter throughout the year. You have also from yesterday's games,
