Nick Pollock and today is March 4th and yes, we are going to talk about baseball. I am beginning

my spring training news and reviews series that I do every single year talking about spring

training performances from yesterday that are noteworthy that you should keep in mind, as well as going

through all the news of injuries and just things around baseball that you should also know about.

Let me begin with a special announcement.

Yesterday on Twitter, we announced that we are launching pitcher list stats.

It is a subdivision of pitcher list that is solely focused on our analytics division with Kyle Bland as the director.

We made a Twitter account picture list PLV that I cannot believe has grown within the last 24

hours.

We were at 800 followers.

We're at like 70,000 plus now or something ridiculous.

And go check it out if you haven't yet because it is featuring all the player cards that we've

made these really lovely player cards that showcase all the fun data of these spring starts.

So go check that out.

It's going to be just a pure stats account.

And it's the easiest way to just stay on top of all the cool things that we are doing.

Now in news, we have Hunter Green getting an MRI as he felt pain in his right elbow.

Not fun.

It is really disappoint, obviously, because this is Hunter Green, and this is a guy who we really

expect to be an ace for many teams.

It does seem like this is going to be an IL stint. Rhett Louder is likely the replacement. So there was this whole conversation about Chase Burns versus Louder versus Aguilar that the Reds try to make. There's maybe also some Brandon Williamson discussion. But really, Rhett Louder should be the one that steps into it. And you should be monitoring his starts, and I will be doing that here with this.
