And yes, we are going to talk about baseball.

The night is young for Brandon Young.

He went six innings, two-runs, six-its, two walks, and six strikeouts.

Six-two-six-26-26-26.

Six times two is 12 whiffs with 34% CSW 86 pitches against the Js yesterday.

And is he good? Is he someone you want to focus on? Not really. I'll tell you why. First,

the Orioles don't need them. This was a double header and Zach Eflin is back. There is no opening.

However, they could be one if the Orioles do trade a pitcher,

but then again, Kyle Bradish comes in in about two weeks or so.

So that would mean two guys would have to either go on the aisle, get traded.

And even if that does happen, what Branding Young does is he throws a 93 to 96, maybe 97, four seamer.

That has a good amount of vert at 17 inches of vert, but not the best attack angle and not very good extension.

He does a decent job of commanding it, and it really is the root of everything that he does.

Because the cutter, and yes, a cutter not a slider, even though it's at 90, sorry, 8586

compared to the 94 or so of the fastball, right?

It doesn't have enough drop.

It is well above zero, it's around like a 4, 5, maybe even 6 vert cutter.

So that's why we're not getting the full slider classification.
