And should we care about Joe Boyle?

Well, he came up in a surprise start.

Did not expect this one.

And he went five innings zero runs zero hits, two walks, seven K's. Oh my gosh. Now, he went against

Atlanta. Atlanta's been really bad offensively. Sure. But let's talk about this for a second.

We have 60% strikes in higher, really more than that on both the four seamwear and slider,

which is right then and there, that is good enough for Joe Boyle to be successful in the majors.

It's all about throwing strikes with them.

We know this used to be the poster child for having bad command, but good stuff.

And now all of a sudden, if you throw enough strikes, you don't need to have, sorry, you don't even have to have the best command, just have good control.

That's all you need to do with that.

And we see 98 on the four seam room, 9091 on the slider, but there's also a splinker that is a little bit more splitter than it is sinker.

And four for 13 whiffs at 93.
