Justin Verlander made his return to the hill after about two and a half months. And he did well. Five innings two and runs for its one walk in six case. This was a borderline. It's still ill. I went yes. Go for it because the Red Sox aren't good on the road. And Verlander has done enough rehab to be able to toss about 80 pitches. He threw 76 here.

You got a King Cole with a 37% CSW. As he pounded the zone with four seamers got a lot of cult strikes with it.

But I really liked the slider locations. You didn't get as many whiffs, but it was all just very much inside the

zone precise down and glove side as you want it to be. Maybe you can extend a little bit further

in the future. But this looked like solid Verlander. And you should probably see more than 76 pitches

moving forward. Don't expect really more than a strikeout an ending. This was six here, which is

nice. It's really something that I think

is going to be like a 23% K rate. And that's fine. We're cool. Winning ball club. Whip is going to be

probably on the better side. ERA is probably going to be on a little bit of the worse side,

like a 3, 5, 3, 6, 3, 7, something like that, just because of home runs likely still going to be an issue for

verlander over time but yeah we're good with verlander and uh you should be sliding in your lineup obviously

uh nester cortez did great against the guardians really nice with his cutter 15 whiffs overall

seven eightnings of shut up ball you'd love to see it great stuff with the cortez he gets the

nationals next we're cool micho lorenzin came through as a streamer got the win. Sevennings of shutout ball, but now it's Cleveland in Cleveland.

And you don't want to do that one. But hey, thumbs up there. Domingo Raman made his first start since the DV charges last year.

And it was six innings of zero and runs. Three hits four walks, fours for the pirates against Texas in Texas.

A positive start.

Fastball was erratic.

Changeups were fine and his curb ball was pretty much the curveball that it needs to be.

It might not be Dominger Hermann moving forward in the rotation.

They currently have Jake Woodford in there and this was really just a spot start with Jared Jones coming back next week.

Personally, I just wouldn't touch Herman, not just for the personal reasons of not really wanting to support the guy, but also, yeah, he's fine.
