Five innings, six hundred runs. Eight hits two walks and four case for Merrill Kelly. Oh boy. Not fun against the raise. I watch this one. I think honestly he didn't pitch as badly as the line

suggested. However, the velocity is down to 90 miles per hour, not 92, 93. And he didn't really

earn whiffs with his four seamer and his changeup. Cutters really did a lot of work here, some

breakers as well. He's a Toby for a winning team. He had a four-pitch inning here, like an actual one, not one of the double

play. The third batter did the right thing. You take the first pitch, but then 0-1, he got a pitch to hit

and got an out, and there you go, four pitches. Amazing. He does get Fenway next, and I don't know if I

would go after Merrill Kelly for that one, but I do think that the velocity should return over time.

The change up should be a little bit better.

I think Merrill Kelly is generally fine.
