A lot of good people in the industry will be there. We'll be watching the Korea Games go. It's

going to be such a fun event. All right. News from yesterday. Blake Snell signed a two-year deal with the Giants. It's exactly what we

expected to happen. It should have happened a long time ago. And it means that Dalton Jeffries,

who was going for an SP5 bid, is not going to be in that rotation. Keaton Win is good for the

opening day round, they said. Blake's now probably will not start until the back end of that

rotation in the first turn

just because he will need a couple weeks to just get up to speed. I honestly imagine that

the Giants will still go with like 60 pitches or 70 pitches of Blake's Nell, but just give them an

extra couple days to get one more time to ramp up more against solid hitters. That makes a lot of sense to

me. Kevin Gosman is doing a simulated game on Wednesday to test his shoulder. Just like

Snell, I think Gosman is going to go toward the back of that rotation. It does mean that Jose

Berrios is the opening day starter for the Blue Jays. Also, Alck Minoah is continuing his recovery

and is scheduled to throw on the side

today. We'll see how that looks. We have Anthony Descophani starting this season on the aisle

with a forearm strain. I feel terrible for Descophani. It does mean that Louis Varland finally

has the SP5 spot for the twins. So I'm all over Louis Varland in drafts. I don't think it's

on the same level as like if Paul Skeens or Jackson Job. And there's an argument to be made

that Jared Jones would be more exciting. I actually think so than Louis Varland gained the fifth

spot. However, Varland has a very good fastball at 95 plus that has good pitch shape.

He goes upstairs with it.

He does not the best command of it.
