PitcherList.com. My name is Nick Pollock. Today is July 5th,

and yes, we are going to talk about baseball. Terrick Scoobel went four innings, zero and runs

zero hits. Zero walks in six Ks. It wasn't a perfect one because he did have a backfoot slider

that was literally a backfoot slider as he had a hit by pitch. But this was wonderful. Not just because he's back on the hill and have

this good line against the athletics. It's because he was throwing 96, not 94, as we saw

pre-surgery for Terrick's school. That's so exciting. And he's doing what I call the seven as a

lefty, which is throwing four seamers upstairs and inside. So if you look at the strike zone,

you essentially have the top row and the far right

column making a seven for your locations, which I love to see with Derek Skulblitz,

but I wanted to see before the surgery from him. And that allows this slider. That's really good.

The better slider that we've seen in the past, do well underneath bats, get some whiffs there,

get some awkward outs, and they have the

change of and curveball mixing in as well. This works a ton. It's just 57 pitches right now,

so we're probably going to wait for another start or two until we get like proper scuba.
