Just kind of interesting across one start against the J's, and you're wondering, oh boy,

is this the newest of the Astros, I don't know, warehouse of all these amazing pitchers?

No, what he does is he throws lots of good sliders.

Like, 54% usage here, 33% CSW with 12 whiffs, that's cool to see.

I don't really like the fastball that much. Only 46% strikes. And it's 94.95. It's okay. The J's kind of struggled to do much with it.

And that's why you have the success. And you can say something about Blanco not really giving in

with the heater in the middle of the plate,

with the slider kind of going around the edges a bit and the fastball, kind of avoiding it.

But four walks and three hits because of that, right?

I don't like this pairing.

It's the Wascarino rule.

Which really is more like a really good slider and a bad fastball.

I know I talk about it as you have to have two

pitches and they both need to be elite, but it's more so a guy who just has a really good slider
