I'm feeling a sense of calm descending upon the nation this morning as we get the very

welcome news that coronavirus infections appear to be flattening out across Great Britain after

weeks and weeks of watching those same rates accelerate to alarmingly high levels. Yesterday,

Secretary of State for Health Matt Hancock once again gave an assured performance in the face of the usual negative questioning from the assembled media.

He was able to address the care home scandal, and we talked about earlier this week,

and confirmed that testing is now available for all care home staff that think they may

have symptoms of COVID-19. Of course, it didn't stop Channel 4 from getting their reporter

to basically say

to the Health, Secretary of State for Health, are you sacrificing the old in order to keep

the young alive? Charming, isn't it? Absolutely brilliant. This morning, we will talk some more

about the supply of PPE with Dr Dominic Pimenta, who has launched a charity called Heroes

to help provide everything from masks and gowns to lunches for those

NHS workers on the front line. And as ever, we want to hear from you, the eyes and ears
