And we're going to be looking at the question of the energy supplies of the future because we're starting a series across October where we're looking at the future of things and so we thought that energy

Richard McMahon from the engineering department of Cambridge University I work on

wind power, wave power things to do with smart grids

and what we have to do if we're going to accommodate all these new forms of renewable generation.

I'm Michael Price from the Optelectronics Group of the University of Cambridge.

I work on the physics of new types of solar panel materials, also associated devices like light

emitting diodes or lasers.
