This week I'm talking to Franco Romero about his book, The Closet Spiritualist.

Franco had a near-death experience when he was six months old,

but he was not aware of his NDE until he was teenage years when vivid dreams began to emerge.

Hi Franco, thanks a lot for coming on the podcast.

Thank you. Thank you for having me, Simon. How are you?

I'm fine, thanks, and I'm excited to talk about your book. It's called The Closet Spiritualist.

The first chapter is called Coming Out. So why did you write a chapter about that? What's it all about?

You know, Simon, that's a great question. And we were just talking about this a few minutes ago, about how when you speak to somebody, talk to somebody, it always seems like something new comes out of that conversation that adds a little more light to this big picture about spirituality and issues or topics like near death experiences.

This one, this particular chapter, it felt like the appropriate way to get started

with this, what I would at least label a very colossal topic that covers all sorts of

things, experiences that people have had questions with,

but have either never really been able to express them in a question or have been afraid to.
