Summary

This episode is for the parents.

If you are not a parent or don't want to be, you're going to need this advice.

What we need in this world is more intentional parents.

Most parents are not.

They're raising their kids on iPads.

They don't know how to shake hands.

Communicate.

My kids will bring their kids to the house and I can see if their Dads are not teaching them what they need to, so I have to step up.

I do date nights with my wife so my kids can see how couples should be.

I make my kids work and they get jobs every summer and they have more money in the bank than most adults do.

We have daddy-kid day.

I take my kids to the ranch to get them to operate machinery and work shovels and brooms.

You gotta teach kids the importance of being intentional and it starts with parents.  We can't allow our kids to be indoctrinated by schools, ipads and other entities.  They don't give two shits about our kids.

If you want grandkids better than you, as a parent, make sure you're intentional.

take it and hear it from me today. What we need in this world is more intentional parents. Most

parents, and I observe this. I see not necessarily my friends because, you know, if I'm going to be friends with

0:54.9

somebody, I have high standards. But I see a lot of parents in my day-to-day activities. And most

1:00.7

parents are not intentional. They're just raising their kids on an iPad. I'll see kids that are

1:06.5

10, 11 years old, no social skills. They don't know how to shake a grown man's hand. They don't know how to make eye contact. They just haven't been intentional with their kids. I see it because my kids will bring kids over to the house. And I'm like, oh, man, his dad ain't teaching him how to be a dad. His dad ain't showing him how to be a man. Oh, man. His mom and dad ain't teaching them and say yes or no, sir. See, me, I'm an intentional parent and so is Amy. And what I mean by that is everything we do with our kids has intention behind it. Okay. We do family huddle where we sit down and we all talk about the best part of our day and what we need to pray for when we do dinner together, which is most nights.
