0:36.1	I'm curious how many of you pray?
0:38.4	Can I see by hand?
0:42.4	I'm seeing about 50%.
0:45.9	And how many for you is it a very regular part of your path that you really sense it as central

0:59.6	So according statistics, over 55% of people pray in this United States and most of them

1:13.6	So what I'd like to do is talk about where prayer fits in a path of mindfulness.
1:20.3	And really do we mean by mindful prayer or prayer with presence.
1:25.8	And often, mindfulness is introduced in a way as a kind of extracted from its spiritual
1:33.8	traditional roots and offered as a technique.
1:37.1	You pay attention this way and you note this or you name that and you do this and this happens.
1:43.1	And many people find that at the really deep, compelling, poignant moments of their life
1:52.4	during births and deaths and celebrations and crisis, that all drops away and it's in
1:58.6	some deep way it's like, oh please, you know, there's some deep prayerfulness that gets
