Welcome to the Andy Staples Show and yet another very newsy couple of days in college sports.

Nicole are back here with me as she is every Wednesday to break it down.

We've got many, many stories for Power Hour, probably too many for this week's Power Hour.

But right before we started recording this thing,

couple pieces of news broke.

One, Notre Dame Wake Forest will be postponed

because Notre Dame has some issues with COVID-19 positives

and with folks in quarantine because of contact tracing.

And two, the Mountain West has changed its meeting date from Friday to Thursday

because they want to get rolling. Well, I think it's, I guess if you're going to start practices

Monday, if you want to ramp up on Monday, that one extra day makes a difference. Yeah. So we should get

some clarity. They're not scheduled to vote on Thursday, but they can vote on Thursday.

So, you know, the latest out of that league that I'm told is that the ADs, you know, support October 24th as a start date, eight game season, basically the Big Ten model.

Yeah, and that seems about right.

And it's amazing how everybody that has now postponed is suddenly flipping back.

The Mac seems to be the outlier here.

They could potentially get there.

They could.

It was a financial issue for them in the first place and probably still is one.

Well, and you know the the most

disappointing piece of news from this week is UMass is coming back they're going to try to play some

games that's right you thought of you as soon as i saw that i know but yukon is still they decided they said
