And honestly, one of the most surprising results of the whole season, Michigan State

beating Michigan and giving Mel Tucker his first win as a Spartan's head coach, and it just so happens to come in the rivalry game.

For those who don't know, Nicole is a Michigan alum.

I am a Michigan State alum.

Our rivalry goes back to when we were students.

And for those who don't know, we'll hit this quickly.

But the Michigan and Michigan State student newspapers play each other in football every year,

except this year, obviously, for pandemic reasons.

They play a flag football game or a touch football game the night before Michigan State.

And we always, since in the four years now, we've worked together.

We always taunt each other leading up to that game.

It didn't actually happen this year.

Unfortunately, it might happen in the spring, maybe, hopefully.

But Nicole and I have known each other for a while back before we worked together.
