I am joined today, as always, by the Athletics senior writer Chris Vanini, fresh off a Michigan Daily shutout win over the state news of Michigan State.

Chris, we are still in speaking terms, but I am very excited for you to celebrate the Michigan Daily's win in that newspaper touch football rivalry game.

Yeah, we'll get to it.

I know we made a wager last week.

To say a nice thing about the other newspaper.

I didn't want to make it too big of a wager because I kind of knew the result.

But we will get to that in the cheers and jeers at the end of the show as promised. But just know that I'm kind of doing

that meme where it's like the crying guy with the happy face mask on throughout this whole episode.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Sure. Well, I'm in a great mood because, you know, as we discussed last week,

that rivalry game for touch football is honestly much more serious than any

of the on-field football games. And we will get to plenty of the fallout from the on-field,

Michigan-Michigan State game in just a second. A reminder here that the Andy Staples show and
