Welcome to Best Date Kid.

You may have guessed from my euthanistic opening greeting, but this week we are thrilled

to be delving into a very specifically powered world.

Yes, we are talking about superheroes and comic books and films and all that good stuff.

Yeah.

So you are going to hear all of our time at New York Comic Con last month.

That was Nicole's first time.

Yeah.

You're going to hear from some of the amazing fans that we met there because there is nothing

like a collection of fans only in one place and they were very, very accommodating.

We basically stuck a microphone in their faces and said, hey, tell us about the superheroes

you first and after.

And they were more than happy to go and tell us all their love, a little first crush

stories.

I think my first crush was actually Zina, which is weird that I dress like her.

I think I was like nine or ten when the show came out so that was when I was like, oh,

I love her.

And then we also have a guest this week, don't we?

Yeah, we're going to speak to TV Guide Features Editor, Critica Marley Cargina, an expert

in all things comics and superheroes and pop culture.
