Well, we're continuing in our series A Simpler Life, as we think today about the Peace of

Christ and pouring yourself out for others. We'll be hearing from Olive Fleming.

Her husband Peter was one of the five missionaries along with Jim Alliet, Nate Saint,

Ed Macaulay, and Roger Udarian, who were killed in Operation Alka, trying to reach

out to that tribal people.

And later on Elizabeth will talk about why she was not known, by most people anyway, as Elizabeth

Gren, or for that matter as Elizabeth Leach, her second husband, Addison Leach. She'll talk about that a little bit later.

I mentioned the second husband of Elizabeth Addison Leach he had cancer and

Elizabeth got some advice about making a career out of somebody else's illness.

The peace of Christ is utterly different

from anything that the world can offer.

The last gift that Jesus gave to his friends was peace.

He said, peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you, not as the world

giveth. The world can offer nothing remotely similar to the peace of Christ.
