Welcome into the latest edition of ESPNFC. I'm Tomas, showing the studio today by Craig

Burley and Ali Moreno. We'll kick things off in the Champions League at Stanford Bridge

where Chelsea scored two goals for the first sign this calendar year. And that was enough

to see them get through Borussia Dortmund and book a place in the Champions League quarter

finals. Man, they had to work hard for it though. Eventually though, Raheem Sterling

broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute. Then Kai Havards from the penalty spot would make

it to know it would be a penalty that would be retaken after he missed the initial one.

Encroachment though on Dortmund would see him retaken. Kept his call, buried the spot

kick. Chelsea advanced then to one on aggregate. For more on this, that's welcome.

Shouai Franklin. Buff joins us. Jan Arger, Fjordt, offers a well. We'll start though in

the studio. Craig in the end. Chelsea deserved this. I don't think there's any argument

against this. Yeah, I think so. And don't forget the Plydwell

in Dortmund, but they were put in front of goal. And when the first half started, when

the game started, and Chelsea created a couple of chances with Plydwell Sterling getting

in behind, and you thought, it's the same story again here. They just can't score. In fact,

Sterling's goal came from a miskick from the player himself. And he got lucky at landed

back at his feet after a poor challenge and rams it in the net. But generally, the play

was pretty good. And Dortmund huffed him puffed for a period in the second half without

looking as if they were going to score Halle. Never got much of a kick. So I don't think

Dortmund can have too many complaints. And I tell you what, it's a big, bit of pressure

off, certainly short term for Greenport. You could see that in the celebrations at the

end, just that sense of relief from Potter, from the fans, from the players as well. But
