Summary

Happy Pot Luck Saturday Heal Squad! Saturdays are the perfect day to clean, organize and empty those closets and drawers and Keven and Kelsey are doing just that! How to overcome the pain and guilt behind ridding yourself of items. Why hanging on to them is actually far more painful and detrimental. How society has falsely taught us to strive to 'have' things in order to 'be' happy - and how it's an appetite that can never be satisfied, often leading to greater emptiness and terrible consequences. How ridding material items will not only lighten you but also help you to rid yourself of other heavy and toxic forces in your life. Sorry, no PLS signature outro, Heal Squad:( Oh and even though Pot Luck Saturday is totally #grit, @thekelseymeyer doesn't want you getting used to them.

tiktokers nowadays. The rear, the rear of singer drummer. Oh, yeah. Interesting. You know, I just, I'm talking

0:49.8

guys a quick word about shedding, about downsizing, about minimizing, about lighting the load. I, um, I've

1:01.8

just been on this, you know, tear of, uh, you know, with my studios, but then also with my house,

1:10.8

and getting rid of a lot of stuff. And, uh, and while it feels good every day, I do it. It's also

1:19.6

very, very painful. And I want to speak to it a little bit because I know Kelsey, you're going to

1:25.1

be doing the same at your house. That's right. But I know it's really hard for people to do. Um, and

1:33.0

I, and I get it, you know, for me, um, we just had so many things going on over the years. It was

1:41.9

always, and we did everything in house. So whether it was, you know, producing 100 and something,

1:46.7

200 shows a week and after buzz or even our parties, you know, at the house, we would have these

1:52.3

just giant blowouts. And yeah, there were times we had event planners and all that, but a lot of

1:57.6

times it was just us rigging lights and, you know, and I mean, when you talk about a tennis court and

2:04.5

you know, having to fill that up, beer pong tables and this and just a lot of cool stuff. And I,

2:10.4

because I think because I came up in the carny business, you know, I'm, I was always kind of good

2:15.8

at that. But I also knew the right equipment to get. And it was just when I would see the rental

2:21.6

prices on the stuff. I'm like, this is insane. Yeah, you'd like, like tens, when I say tens,

2:27.2

untends on tens of thousands of dollars for things that were cheaper to buy. I'm like, me,

2:32.4

we just buy it and we'll always pull it out. So I have a lot of storage on the property. And so

2:40.0

forever, there's just so much stuff from the years of that. And then also my studios, you know,

2:47.4

always upgrading the studios. So it would just be more light to more light to more equipment. And,

2:53.9

you know, and I remember thinking, God, if the I have to shut down after buzz or we move,
