Before sharing this technique and what it's all about,

let me first just reinforce the sentiment

that I've said many times on this podcast, which is that the worry mind or emotions like anger, fear, all of these things have a place within the human experience. They can prompt us to take action.

They can be in response to something that is unjust. They're warranted and instead of immediately trying to

transcend them or a mindfully suppress them, which is a very common thing with

mindfulness practice.

It's first important just to see,

what is this telling me?

Why is this worry here?

Why is this anxiety here?

Is it pointing to something that requires my action and my attention?

I think that is always the first thing that we want to check in with ourselves when these things arise,

to honor this part of our human experience and see is it something that can

that I can use skillfully that's trying to tell me something important right and

we've all had that experience we know what what that's like and instances where that can be true and I think we've also all know the experience

Where worry arises but it really doesn't have much to do with what is happening right now. Maybe it's

something we're completely creating in our mind. It might be totally

imaginary, something that could go wrong. Or it's something that might need our attention, but not in this moment, maybe the next day or a week from now,
