All right. Welcome. Welcome to the Biblos Network. We are happy you've joined us today. We are in the last throes of summer.

The wonderful, wonderful cool fingers of fall are beginning to caress our brow.

And my personal favorite time of the year is almost upon us.

The temperature, the foliage, and white-tailed deer hunting is almost here.

The Lord is good.

Time for venison, time for sausage, time for a wonderful time of the year.

I trust you are doing well.

God has kept his hand on you where you are.

We are enjoying the blessings of God here in Durham, North Carolina,

and pray that you are as well.

Today, I want to launch into a topic that I find occupies a lot of the minds of apostolics.

And it has to do with education.

It has to do with bettering oneself academically and what happens to people when they go to

institutions of higher learning. They go to universities, to colleges, and they have an

apostolic worldview. Many times apostolic young adults and teens find that they are at odds with the existing

culture and worldview around them.

And so parents find out that they send their kids off to college to a university, and the kids come back radically changed and altered.

Now, this is not true in every situation, but in enough situations that it causes concern, they find that their children are different, very different, many times for the worse.

There is a noticeable loss of faith, an embracing of very foreign concepts and ideologies.

And it's one reason why apostolics work hard to protect their young people, protect their children,

protect their minds from the reigning postmodern paradigm of modern university thinking.

So I'm going to talk today about postmodernism and the church.
