the floods this month in Greece and Libya have killed an estimated 11,317 people.

And according to a preliminary new study, carbon pollution and global heating

made the levels of rainfall up to 10 times more likely in Greece,

and 50 times more likely in Libya compared to a world in which humans had not

changed the climate.
