unbelievable.

Man,

just when you think they've shown you everything,

they show you a little something else.

Tonight wasn't pretty for much of it.

In fact, I would say for the entire first half and for a goodly portion of the third quarter,

this was one of their lesser performances of the entire season coming off a great win.

And the thing about this team, which is, you know, it's been the theme of the season, right?

It's where do we connect the dots between the grit and toughness and never say die attitude of the last year's team of the 2023-24 Knicks?

And this year's team with its incredible influx of talent, but an influx of talent that really from opening night has left us significant questions about what their ceiling is, at times what their floor is,

and really what the finalized vision of this team is going to be.

And tonight, you saw a lot of those themes and concepts blend together because this was

not an easy game.

When you come out and you do not have it, and the next, oh my God, they did not have it on either end of the court.

And we'll get into some of the reasons why, maybe some of the reasons why they went down as big as they did, down as by as many as 19 points.

But you do have to have the grit and the toughness and all of the buzzwords in order to be able to get back in that game.

But you also need to have the talent.

And you need to have that talent work in a way that is functional for you.
