Ann Arbor. Well, not downtown. We're on the outskirts, but we're in Ann Arbor. Anthony Broom here with Ryan Van Bergen, as we are every week after Michigan games. And unlike last week, we have a very impressive win to talk about Ryan.

Michigan takes down Washington by a score of 24 to 7.

Listen, when you come on and question the things that we did last week, in a vacuum like that,

those are valid criticisms and things that we observed in real time. The only thing that matters

after that is the response. And there were reports

this week of it being an emotionally charged week coming off of the USC game. Some whispers of,

I won't even say discontent. Just, you know, when you come off a loss, a lot of things get questioned

and a lot of guys challenge each other. And today, I mean, if we're going to come on a show last

week, if we're going to come on a show last week,

if we're going to come on shows throughout the week and question Wink Martindale,

the Michigan defense, the absolute first thing we have to do today is shout them out for

what was a defensive masterclass. You'll hold a Washington, a really good Washington offense to

seven points, 249 yards of offense. Demand Williams had 536

yards of offense last week. It was incredible. He had three picks today, minus 19 yards rushing,

only 209 yards passing. They took Jonah Coleman out of the game. And then offensively,

there were some mistakes that were made,

some points left on the field. But late when your defense gives you those turnovers,

you found a way to cash in, you hit the accelerator when it mattered the most,

and got what wound up being after 60 minutes, a mostly complete and impressive turning of the page. The nail was hit right on the head when you talk about the response after the USC

game and the trip out to California.
